BLUCOM is a mobile application whereby contents, games and transactions can be displayed and processed on a mobile phone in sync with corresponding TV formats (More information about BLUCOM here).

FiveCast was commissioned to implement the BLUCOM portal for Deluxe Music as part of a an all-embracing contract covering concept, design, templates and backend system.

An unusual feature of Deluxe's BLUCOM portal is that the song title is displayed on the user's mobile phone in sync with the programme. In addition the viewer can order a matching ring tone as well as a CD of the live song title via BLUCOM.

For the half-hourly portal update, FiveCast's proprietary BLUCOM generator module - as used in BLUCOM DMS (Document Management System) - was used. This automatically produces the respective BLUCOM pages with the help of the transmitter's XML data streams and synchronizes the BLUCOM contents with the live TV programme.
