SuperRTL runs a late night Fun Night, whereby viewers take part in multi-player games, or make animated figures speak, or chat with each other - all by SMS. This is all visualised via 3D software from various producers.

FiveCast was commissioned to create the integrated playout consisting of games computer, graphic inserter and editorial tools for chatting. FiveCast`s proprietary SMS processing and management system was used together with the iServer. This client enabled middleware system is the interface between the SMS provider and the TV transmitters. It is linked via common interfaces to all the leading SMS providers in Germany, boasts an internal keyword and user administration of its own and already offers all standard applications for innovative iTV formats with integrated modules for chatting, voting, games, bingo, couponing and 1:1 matching.
