Fivecast has surpassed 100 employees across our four office locations in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
A growing, global team
2022 was a significant year of growth for the Fivecast team. Our Adelaide HQ team has grown to over 80 people and moved into our new office on Hutt Street in the Adelaide CBD. Our Arlington, Virginia team has also continued to grow, with a team of 14-strong now based in our United States office. Fivecast also expanded our reach across Australia, opening an office in Canberra, and in the latter half of 2022 we expanded our reach into Europe, opening our first European-based office in London in November 2022.
The Canberra office is our second Australian office alongside our Adelaide-based headquarters. The Fivecast team located in Canberra consists of our APAC Sales and Tradecraft team, who work closely with Fivecast’s customers and industry engagement across the eastern states. In a short time, the Canberra team has grown to six, with further growth expected amongst the team in 2023.
In recent months, Fivecast’s growth into the United Kingdom and Europe has also come to fruition with our London team being established in late 2022. With a growing UK contingency, Fivecast now has the access to serve not only the United Kingdom but also the greater European and Middle Eastern area. The UK office has quickly grown to 6 team members since opening in the region just a few months ago.
Our 100th Employee(s)
The expansion in global reach has seen Fivecast surpass 100 employees, with our 100th and 101st employees starting on the same day in two different offices. Maria Lanzellotti is our Channel Sales Director UK in our London office, and Paul Lewis is an Undergraduate Software Engineer in our Adelaide office – and both signify the exciting growth rate of Fivecast over 2022.
Paul joined Fivecast by applying to our internship program but, with an exemplary interview process and a well-developed career prior to studying Software Engineering, Paul was instead offered the role of Undergraduate Software Engineer. Beginning his professional career as a Psychologist, Paul decided to return to university in 2020 to study a Bachelor of Software Engineering at the University of Adelaide and is just six months from completing his program. Paul joins a growing group of Software Engineers at Fivecast’s Adelaide Headquarters, now located at Hutt Street.
Maria joined Fivecast as our Channel Account Executive in the United Kingdom on the very same day as Paul. Maria has been working in the security and intelligence sectors for more than 10 years, long before the industry exploded, and is now a seasoned channel leader. Maria provides a wealth of knowledge and experience within our growing UK team. In her new role, Maria will support Fivecast’s EMEA Channel Go-to-Market strategy, building a partner ecosystem and a partner program.
